CMOT Corporate Affiliate Program
The 2006 Corporate Affiliate Program has been approved and is being communicated to companies that have worked with the universities. This uniquely designed program gives the company access to three universities, credits for equipment usage, passes to seminars, and a proactive agreement in relation to intellectual property.

Program Goals
Encourage university – company interactions; establish relationships with world class companies; and provide funding for the universities for ongoing operational needs.

Strategically Positioned Resources
CMOT takes advantage of the three technology platforms: Optical materials at Clemson University; Integrated optics and modeling at UNC Charlotte; and Rapid product realization at Western Carolina University. As a combined alli-ance, CMOT has a vertically integrated capability to provide fertile ground for product innovation and technology development. The collective resources include 225,000 square feet ($57M) of new building space, $29M in equipment, 37 Professors, and 30 Staff.
